Clarksville man gets rowdy at Night Deposit bar

39-year-old Shafia Clanton was charged with public intoxication after causing disturbances with multiple customers at the Night Deposit bar by screaming and initiating disputes with customers throughout the evening, per report.

On June 4th, Officer Moore was dispatched to 404 N 2nd Street in response to a verbal dispute. Upon arrival, Moore noticed a man screaming and quarreling with multiple customers inside the sports bar. Moore proceeded to ask the man, who was later identified as Shafia Clanton, to exit the premises for questioning.

While being argumentative about leaving having to leave the pool hall, Moore observed Clanton to have a slurred manner of speaking and a strong scent of alcohol emitting from his person. Law enforcement deemed Clanton a nuisance to the public due to his inebriation.

Shafia Clanton was arrested and charged with public intoxication. His bond was set at $439.
