“Brotherly disagreement” ends with one in custody

26-year-old Kalvin Taylor was charged with domestic assault after he told an officer that he used an open palm to push his brother by the shoulders close to Allure Bar & Grill.

On November 7th, Clarksville Police Officer Onfroy responded to a fight at 2150 Ft. Campbell Boulevard, near Allure Bar & Grill. Per the affidavit, Sergeant C. Coleman was parked there and he explained to Officer Onfroy that he saw “a young man in a yellow turtleneck swing a punch at another young man who was wearing a black hoodie in a manner strong enough to cause the small fashion vest the young man in yellow was wearing to fall off of his person.”

When Officer Onfroy made contact with the two men, Kalvin Taylor and his brother, Larodgric Ratliff, they explained that they are brothers and that they were having a disagreement. They further stated that they live together. By Larodgric’s account, nothing happened and he was unharmed. By Kalvin’s account, it was a brotherly disagreement, and that no punches were thrown, as he used open palms to push Larodgric by the shoulders to get his attention. They both stated that they were walking back to the club when Sergeant Coleman drove up to them. Kalvin Taylor was then taken into custody.

Kalvin has previously been arrested when he was found with 15 pounds of marijuana, 500 Xanax bars, and a firearm.

Kalvin Taylor was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $500 bond.
