39-year-old Dustin Holthusen was charged with domestic assault after getting in his wife’s face and chucking a trash can at her head during an argument.
On November 5th, Officer Joshua Godwin responded to a service call at 1240 Fossil Drive. There, he met with Dustin Holthusen’s wife, Amanda Holthusen. According to her report, she and her husband were arguing when he “got in her face” and was screaming, so she pushed him away from her. She further explained to the officer that Dustin then pushed her to the ground, picked up a nearby trash can, and threw it at her, hitting her in the head. According to a background check, this is his first domestic assault charge.
Dustin Holthusen was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.
