Woman charged after lover says she pulled a knife on him during argument over cheating texts

56-year-old Kimberly Sutton was charged with aggravated assault after she pulled a knife on a man and made him bleed during an argument about cheating text messages.

On August 26th, Montgomery County Deputy Acree arrived at 2580 Lylewood Road in response to a call for service. Acree was met outside by Kimberly Sutton who said that she and Billy Cunningham were arguing about cheating text messages.

According to Cunningham, during the argument, Sutton pulled a knife on him, but she put it down and then assaulted him. Acree observed Cunningham’s neck and shoulder bleeding, and his throat was red from suspected clawing or strangulation.

Kimberly Sutton was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $5,000.
