Wife goes for Icehouse Beer; returns with knife to attack husband

38-year-old Erin Veers was charged with domestic aggravated assault and violation of conditions of release, and 38-year-old Daniel Veers was charged with domestic assault when the couple got in an argument over the Facebook Dating app.

On September 28th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Alan Greenman responded to a domestic call at 983 Roedeer Drive, where he made contact with Erin Elizabeth Veers in her garage.

Mrs. Veers reported to police she’d been in a verbal altercation with her husband over the Facebook Dating app when he became upset. Mrs. Veers denied having the app, and told police her husband grabbed her when she tried to flee to the garage, and said “call the police, if that’s what you have to do,” and “I’ll find out if you did and fuck you up.” She also told police they’d been in a domestic the week before, when Mr. Veers cut himself to make it seem he was attacked.

Mr. Veers confirmed that they had been arguing over the Facebook dating app when his wife got up to get another Icehouse Edge beer. She instead returned with a knife and attempted to slash him 3 to 4 times. He then admitted to police he told his wife, “I will fuck you up if you continue to swing at me with a weapon.” A check through their systems revealed that Mrs. Veers was out under conditions of release.

Erin Elizabeth Veers was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault and violation of conditions of release. She was freed on a $1,000 bond.

Daniel Veers was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was freed on a $500 bond.
