47-year-old Daniel Huff was charged with domestic assault after he grabbed his stepson’s hair and punched him in the face over a lost remote.
On September 29th, Montgomery County Deputy Houston arrived at 3838 Old Blooming Grove Road in response to a domestic disturbance call. Houston spoke with Daniel Huff’s stepson at the scene, and he was told that Daniel Huff came home from work and could not find the television remote where he last remembered leaving it.
Huff came downstairs and asked his stepson where the remote was located. According to the affidavit, Huff became so upset that he grabbed his stepson by his hair and hit him in the face multiple times. Houston noted that Huff’s stepson was bloodied and had swelling on his face. His mother, Sarah Huff, said she saw her son get beaten. Huff admitted to hitting his stepson and was taken into custody.
Daniel Huff was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,500.
