Repeat offender uses box cutter to attack man after breaking into home

30-year-old Yancie Montana Forgue was charged with especially aggravated burglary after breaking into a man’s home and attacking him with a box cutter.

On September 28th, Clarksville Police Department Detective Kenny Bradley responded to a call at 825 Richardson Street, where contact was made with an unnamed male victim. He reported to police that when he opened the back door to let his dogs out, a white male with a goatee wearing dirty khaki pants attacked him with a box cutter.

He told police the attack started at the back door and ended up in the bedroom and that his attacker never said or demanded anything. Police noted he had multiple lacerations across his hands and body. A male with a goatee and wearing dirty khakis, later identified as Yancie Forgue, was interviewed. Police found him in possession of a box cutter, and he admitted to cutting the victim at his residence.

Yancie Montana Forgue was arrested and charged with especially aggravated burglary, two counts of driving on a suspended license, improper display of registration, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $52,000.
