Couple charged again: “There might be” meth and a syringe in pink purse, woman says to police

31-year-old Kerri Evans was charged with a methamphetamine violation and 30-year-old Yancie Forgue was charged with subsequent driving on a suspended license when a convenience store clerk reported them lurking around.

On June 10th, a suspicious vehicle was reported behind the Food Mart at 1570 Zinc Plant Road. According to the affidavit, when Montgomery County Deputy Michael Weber noted that when he approached the driver Yancie Forgue and passenger Kerri Evans became skittish. The couple was asked to step out of the vehicle and if there were drugs present. Evans told officers “there might be” and if there were it would be meth and a needle in her pink purse.

Deputy Weber did find those things in the purse, as well as discovering Forgue was driving on a suspended license. Forgue had been cited by the MCSO on May 26th for driving while restricted and no registration, then again on by the Clarksville Police Department June 8th for paraphernalia and driving restricted. Evans had also been cited by CPD on June 5th for paraphernalia and meth.

Kerri Evans was arrested and charged with a methamphetamine violation and is jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Yancie Forgue was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and is jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
