34-year-old Ramon Gholston was charged with possession of MDMA, Fentanyl, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and violating his probation when surveillance footage reveals the owner of an AK-style handgun and bag containing illegal drugs.
On August 27th, Clarksville Police dispatched Officer Robert Steinmetz to a report of shots fired near Live Oaks Village located at 708 Power Street. During the investigation, Officer Steinmetz located a small Nike bag and an AK-style handgun hidden near 711 Power Street Lot 17. Officers were able to obtain video evidence of Ramon Gholston with the Nike bag in his possession when the incident occurred.
Inside of the Nike bag, Officer Steinmetz found various colors of MDMA pill, several bags of Fentanyl powder, marijuana, and a digital scale. When the illegal substances were weighed, it was found that there were 7 grams of MDMA, 55 grams of Fentanyl, and 28 grams of marijuana.
Ramon Gholston was arrested and charged with possession of MDMA, Fentanyl, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and violating his probation. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $180,000 bond.
