feat Chen Neng

43-year-old Neng Tong Lan and 42-year old Kaiwang Chen were charged with burglary when caught siphoning cooking oil from Zaxby’s into a box truck.

On July 25th, officers were called by Chris Reed to the Zaxby’s parking lot at 1694 Fort Campbell Boulevard relating to a suspicious white box truck in the parking lot. The truck was backed up to a shed and gated dumpster area.

The dumpster area contained a metal container with cooking oil which was connected by a pump to another container in the back of the box truck. Neng was inside the truck, and Chen was holding the hose. Zaxby’s owner Tim O’Brien confirmed that approximately $600 worth of cooking oil was siphoned from the storage container.

Neng Tong Lan and Kaiwang Chen were both arrested and charged with burglary. Their bonds were set at $25,000 each.
