Teen threatens to kill roommate and girlfriend

19-year-old Gabriel Smith was charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault and interference with an emergency call after police say he threatened to kill his girlfriend and roommate with a knife.

On November 19th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy John Acree responded to a domestic assault at 1090 Drake Road. Acree stated when he arrived, he found Gabriel Smith walking down the street screaming at someone. Both victims, roommate Charles Bell and girlfriend Megan Bell, stated that it was a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation with Smith.

According to the affidavit, Smith found a knife and threatened to kill both of them. When one of them tried to contact 911, Smith took the phone and threw it into a bathtub filled with water. When Smith was confronted about the incident, he admitted that he pulled a knife on both victims.

Gabriel Smith was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault and interference with an emergency call. He was later released on a $21,000 bond.
