19-year-old Haley Puckett was charged with aggravated assault after attempting to run over her neighbor with her truck and threatening to shoot her if the police did not arrest her.
On November 4th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Tyler Eller arrived at the residence of 2071 North Ford Street in response to a domestic violence call. Haley Puckett had called the police the day before in an attempt to get Mary Spingath and her RV removed from the property.
Officers informed her then that Spingath has a right to remain there. Around 1:30 a.m. the next morning, Puckett got into her truck and attempted to run over Spingath, but missed and hit the mailbox. Spingath stated that she had to “dive out of the way” to avoid being hit. According to the report, Puckett told officers that she was trying to hit Spingath when she collided with the mailbox and that if they did not arrest Spingath, she would shoot her.
Haley Puckett was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
