Officers informed her then that Spingath has a right to remain there. Around 1:30 a.m. the next morning, Puckett got into her truck and attempted to run over Spingath, but missed and hit the mailbox. Spingath stated that she had to “dive out of the way” to avoid being hit. According to the report, Puckett told officers that she was trying to hit Spingath when she collided with the mailbox and that if they did not arrest Spingath, she would shoot her.

Haley Puckett was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
