20-year-old Destyni Trevino and 23-year-old Shamell Frias were charged with domestic assault after fighting over clothing.
On October 30th, Clarksville Police Department Officer Meagan Strickland arrived at the residence of 2024 Windroe Drive in response to a domestic violence call. Shamell Frias and her roommate, Destyni Trevino, had gotten into an argument while Destyni was packing her things to move out.

When Trevino asked Frias for her jacket back it turned physical. Frias started pointing at Trevino’s chest, then Trevino slapped her hand away. Trevino slapped Frias in the face Officer Strickland reported that a witness on the scene was unable to explain the situation correctly and that one of the women stomped the other’s face. Officer Strickland noted an “appearance of an assault” on one of the women.
Destyni Trevino was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $250 bond.
Shamell Frias was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
