65-year-old Ron Crosby was charged with domestic assault after he smacked his girlfriend’s phone out of her hand and intentionally knocked her into a wall during an argument.
On October 25th, Clarksville Police Officer Seth Traughber responded to a domestic dispute at 221 Med Park Drive. When Traughber arrived, he spoke with Pamela Thompson who stated she and her boyfriend got into an argument that led to him smacking her phone out of her hand.
She stated he proceeded to walk outside to smoke and knocked her into the wall on his way out on purpose. She advised Traughber that she felt assaulted by Ron’s actions. Ron stated the argument never became physical and denies Pamela’s allegations against him. Based on the stories from each of the parties involved, Traughber determined Ron be the primary aggressor.
Ron Crosby was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $500 bond.
