Papa Rock trash can damaged by man who said he was not drinking, but blew a .14 BAC

56-year-old Roland Taylor was charged with driving under the influence when he struck a trash can at Papa Rock and a witness saw him throw a bottle of Paul Masson away.

On September 21st, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy William Baker was dispatched to Papa Rock located at 1475 Dover Road, and found Roland Taylor. He was inside of his vehicle which had a little damage from hitting a trash can next to the gas pump. The Papa Rock clerk told Deputy Baker that he saw Roland throw away a bottle of Paul Masson that was three-fourths gone.

When he was asked if he had been drinking he stated that he had not and refused to perform a Standardized Field Sobriety Test. He was then placed into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and blew a .14 BAC at the jail. The Deputy also noted that Roland is currently out on bond and awaiting court for a DUI he was charged with in March of this year.

Roland Taylor was arrested and charged with DUI. His bond was set at $10,000.
