Man wakes up sleeping brother and assaults him

55-year-old Ryan Fletcher was charged with domestic assault after he came home intoxicated, woke his brother up, and tried swinging punches at him.

On October 12th, Officer Nicholas Martin of the Clarksville Police Department responded to a domestic assault call in progress at 122 Edmondson Ferry Road. In the early hours of the morning, an intoxicated Ryan Fletcher came into the house, woke his brother up, and began swinging punches at him.

A witness corroborated the story as to who began the altercation by telling police that Fletcher had a history of coming to the residence and starting fights while intoxicated. According to the affidavit, Officer Martin performed a search on Fletcher and found a chore boy and one pipe commonly associated with the illegal consumption of narcotics in Fletcher’s pants pocket.

Ryan Fletcher was arrested and charged with domestic assault and unlawful drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
