34-year-old Tristin Astemborski was charged with driving under the influence and duty to give information and render aid when he failed to mention a hit and run he was involved in prior to being pulled over for a separate incident.
On August 13th, Clarksville Police Officer Joshua Spain pulled over a black Ford truck with a trailer on Oakland and Flower Drive when he noticed wood boards falling from the trailer. Officer Spain identified the driver as Tristin Astemborski and asked him to perform standardized field sobriety tests to which he consented.
Officer Spain advised that Astemborski did poorly on the SFST’s. During the traffic stop, Officer Spain received a separate call for a hit and run matching the black Ford truck.
Tristin Astemborski was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, and duty to give information and render aid. His bond was set at $2,500.
