Man throws Halloween decoration in domestic assault #trickortreat

49-year-old Barry Griffin was charged with domestic assault after he threw a Halloween decoration at his child’s mother causing a laceration to her head.

On October 13th, Montgomery County Deputy Rivera responded to a domestic call at the residence of Misty Lewis located at 2940 Oak Hill Road. Lewis stated that she and Barry Griffin, the father of her child, had gotten into a verbal altercation that turned physical. Griffin threw a ceramic Halloween skull decoration at her head that was the size of a baseball.

The injuries from the skull decoration left a small bump with a laceration on the back of Lewis’ head, however, she refused medical treatment. According to the affidavit, Lewis and Griffin have a history of domestic violence.

Barry Griffin was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond with conditions.
