Levester stated the argument with Treyvaughn began when he refused to allow him to use his car. While they were arguing, Treyvaughn got up from the couch and approached Levester while he was still sitting. Levester said Treyvaughn then got in his face and threatened him by saying “he was going to beat his ass”, according to the report. According to Levester, he was afraid for his safety before his wife Kimberly got involved in the altercation.

Officers then spoke with Treyvaughn, who also stated he was arguing with Levester for not allowing him to use the car, but it was only a verbal argument and he only stood up after Levester stood up. Kimberly told officers that she witnessed her husband and son both arguing, but Treyvaughn got up from the couch and approached Levester while he was cussing and arguing, and she had to get in between them before it could turn physical.

Treyvaughn Murphy was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $250.
