Man tells police he is being hunted by bikers with guns and points to hallucinations

38-year-old Jessie Whitworth was charged with public intoxication after he ran toward a deputy with a stick, claimed that bikers were following him with guns, and stated that there were flashing lights in the distance.

On October 29th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Jackson arrived at the area of Hand Drive and Kendall Drive for numerous calls about suspicious activity and unwanted guests. Several residences of the area claimed that a man in an orange hoodie with a stick knocking on windows, doors, and blocking a doorbell camera. When the deputy made contact with the suspect, identified as Jessie Whitworth, on Hand Court, he began running at his vehicle with the stick.

Jessie claimed that there were bikers following him with guns and that there were flashing lights in the distance. Through investigation conducted by three deputies, it was determined that there were no bikers in the area and the areas Jessie pointed at stating there were flashing lights were areas of darkness. He showed signs of impairment of a narcotic and was deemed to be a danger to himself and others. Jessie has been featured on Scoop: Clarksville previously for domestic assault.

Jessie Whitworth was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $439 bond.
