Man strangles wife during argument about car keys

55-year-old Terrand Wilson was charged with aggravated assault after strangling his wife during an argument over keys.

On September 13th, CPD Officer George Goodman arrived at 834 Creek Stone Drive in response to a domestic violence call. On the scene, police spoke with Terrand Wilson’s wife who said she got into a physical argument with him over a key to his car. She said that he put his hands around her throat, and quickly recanted with “Nevermind, I’m not making any more statements.”

Wilson’s wife proceeded to make several more statements about him putting her hands around her throat, and her being strangled and unable to breathe. She also stated that she hit and bit him after he strangled her.

Terrand Wilson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $2,500.
