Clarksville man found “hooping and hollering” behind Ramblewood Apartments

38-year-old Jessie Whitworth was charged with public intoxication after running up to cars and wandering the woodline behind Ramblewood Apartments.

On September 13th, MCSO Deputy Turner arrived at Ramblewood Apartments in response to a welfare check call. Jessie Whitworth was observed walking the woodline behind Apartment B and he was “hooping and hollering.” When asked if he needed medical help, Whitworth started to speak and slur his words incoherently.

Whitworth was seen with pinpoint pupils and nystagmus in both eyes. It was at this point he was taken into custody. Residents of the apartments told officers that they had seen him walking the woodline, running up to cars, and generally behaving erratically.
