feat Maduka Rashidi

18-year-old Rashidi Maduka was charged with domestic assault after he reportedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s place of employment, slammed her leg in the car door, then punched her in the face.

On November 2nd, Clarksville Police Officer Stach responded to a possible domestic call that had already occurred. Chasity Waynick reported she and her ex-boyfriend, Rashidi Maduka, had an argument over the phone. Maduka told her he would show her how much of shit he was, and was on his way. Waynick later received another call from Maduka, stating he was outside of Hankook Tires, her place of employment.

Waynick told Officer Stach she went outside and engaged in a verbal argument with Maduka. The officer’s report stated she got into the car to get her cigarettes and Maduka slammed the door on her leg. Waynick claimed she pushed the door back open and stood up when she was hit in the face by Maduka with a closed fist. The officer’s report stated Maduka caused bruising on Waynick’s leg from the door and bruising to the face from the punch. Officer Stach showed Waynick a photo of Maduka which she identified him as the person who assaulted her.

Officer Stach made contact with Maduka, who was questioned after being read his Miranda rights. He asked Maduka what happened in reference to the event. Maduka told Officer Stach nothing happened that day and the only time he left was to walk to a bakery.

Rashidi Maduka was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $2500 bond with conditions.
