Fugitive recognized and captured during suspected drug deal; police recover 6.67 oz. of fentanyl

24-year-old Langston Noble Ward Williams and 21-year-old Anthony Charles Rashon Lewis were both charged with evading and resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, possession of fentanyl and marijuana, and multiple other charges after ramming multiple vehicles in an attempt to flee authorities.

On October 26th, Clarksville Police Agent Will Evans observed Langston Williams driving a Chrysler 200 into the lot of Exxon located at 1115 Highway 76 with Anthony Lewis as a passenger. Agent Evans witnessed what seemed to be a suspected narcotics transition between Jason Britt and one of the two parties in the car. Other authorities arrived and attempted to take Williams into custody, but he fleed apprehension by ramming into multiple vehicles.

After detaining both Williams and Lewis, Agent Evans saw, in plain view, a Glock in the passenger seat. During a search of the vehicle, the agents recovered a Glock .40 with 16 rounds including one in the chamber, a baggie filled with a gray powder, a baggie with suspected marijuana, 2 digital scales, and multiple packs of cigarillos. Agent Del Giorno conducted a presumptive test on both substances obtained at the scene. It was noted the baggie full of a gray powder tested positive for fentanyl and weighed 189 grams (6.67 grams), and the baggie full of suspected marijuana tested positive for THC and weighed less than 14.175 grams.

Langston Noble Ward Williams was arrested and charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, vandalism, possession of fentanyl for resale, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $161,000 bond.
