31-year-old James Alston was charged with assault after putting a woman in a chokehold twice at O’Connor’s.
On August 15th, Jessica Mitchell reported that James Alston assaulted her at O’Connor’s Pub located at 1198 Tylertown Road. She said he came up behind her and put her in a chokehold.
He released her and after a few moments did the same thing again. Nearby patrons noticed Alston seemed serious with his actions and separated him from Mitchell.
On August 25th, James Alston was arrested and charged with assault. His bond was set at $500.
