38-year-old Joseph Gonzales was charged with aggravated domestic assault after his girlfriend’s children reported that he clutched and lifted up a 17-year-old girl by her throat and pressed her up against a wall.
On October 5th, Deputy C. Evans of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department arrived at 1302 Jared Court due to a domestic assault call. According to the affidavit, Deputy Evans spoke to three children who told them that their mother’s boyfriend, Joseph Gonzales, assaulted a minor in the home.
They claimed that Joseph had picked up a 17-year-old by her throat and pushed her against a wall during an argument. Officer Evans did state that he observed several marks on the juvenile’s throat.
Joseph Gonzales was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
