Man found “confused” in parking lot, punches and kicks officers while being detained, per report

37-year-old Nicholas Yoreck was charged with disorderly conduct, three counts of assault, and resisting arrest after officers found him “confused” and “disorganized” in a parking lot and then pushed, punched, and kicked three officers while being detained.

On March 25th, Officer Zachary Goodall was dispatched to 1037 S Riverside Drive in reference to an assault call. Contact was made with Nicholas Yoreck, who officers observed to be “confused, disorganized, and rambling nonsense”, per the affidavit.

As officers continued their investigation, Nicholas was swearing and disrupting others that were traveling through the parking lot. When officers attempted to place him into custody, he began to struggle against them to include pushing and punching Officer Goodall, pushing and kicking Officer Hankins, and kicking Captain Koyama.

Nicholas Yoreck was charged with disorderly conduct, three counts of assault, and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $20,000.
