31-year-old Joshua Collins was charged with domestic assault when 2 people said he was spitting in his wife’s face while she tried to calm him down after a discussion about current news.
On August 23rd, Officer Thompson was dispatched to a domestic incident at 1002 Sugarcane Way. The officer spoke with Joshua Collins, his wife Kristian Collins, and their friend Sam Runyon. Kristian stated the couple had friends over and Joshua became upset during a conversation about current news.
While Kristian and Sam were trying to calm Joshua down, he spat in his wife’s face a total of three times. Kristian advised she locked him out of the house after he punched multiple holes in the wall but Joshua broke a window trying to get back in.
Joshua Collins was arrested and charged with domestic assault and his bond was set at $500.
