Drunk Alaskan woman charged after trying to leave Tennova without ride

22-year-old Breana Wilcox was charged with public intoxication when she tried to leave Tennova hospital, still inebriated, after being discharged.

On August 24th, Clarksville Police Officer Lawrence was dispatched to a public intoxication at Tennova Health on 651 Dunlop Lane. Hospital staff advised the officer that Breana Wilcox had been medically cleared for release but was still very intoxicated.

The officer attempted to contact a ride home for Wilcox but she became increasingly agitated with the situation and attempted to leave. Officer Lawrence determined Wilcox to be a danger to herself and others in her state and placed her into custody.

Breana Wilcox was arrested and charged with public intoxication and her bond was set at $439.
