Man stopped after drinks at Electric Cowboy with 291 grams THC product

25-year-old Robert Burgess was charged with marijuana drug violations, DUI, paraphernalia, and open container after getting pulled over after drinking 4 vodka & Sprites at the Electric Cowboy with 291 grams of THC product in his truck.

On August 22nd, Clarksville Police Officer Hickmon stopped a pickup truck at 939 South Riverside Drive because the driver swerved from its lane six times. Hickmon immediately noticed the smell of alcohol and marijuana coming from Robert Burgess’ vehicle. When asked, Burgess admitted to having four vodka sprites at the Electric Cowboy and smoking marijuana hours earlier. Burgess performed poorly on the field sobriety tests and a probable cause search was conducted.

The search yielded a United States Postal Service box with 78 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) edibles, 12 grams of marijuana, 18 milliliters of THC vape cartridges, 7 grams of THC rolls, 6 oz THC syrup, 6 grams hash rolls and hemp rolling paper. An open Don Julio tequila bottle was also found inside the vehicle. Burgess confessed that all products were marijuana and was taken into custody. The total weight of the THC stash was 291 grams.

Robert Burgess was arrested and charged with Schedule VI drug violations, unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, and open container. His bond was set at $75,500.
