51-year-old Tyrone Mitchell was charged with domestic assault when his girlfriend told police he accused her of sleeping with another man, then slapped her, got in her face, and smashed her house phone against a wall.
On March 7th, Officer Daniel Smith was reported to Miller Town Apartments located at 395 Jack Miller Boulevard. According to the affidavit, Tyrone Mitchell’s girlfriend told authorities he had been drinking they had an argument that became physical.
She said that he accused her of sleeping with someone else, slapped her across the face and smashed her house phone against the wall. Tyrone admitted to the argument but denied hitting his girlfriend. The record reflects that officers did not observe any signs of injury.
Tyrone Mitchell was arrested and charged with domestic assault and his bond was set at $500.
