Man charged after breaking into resident’s home, going through his car, and stealing his wallet

30-year-old Cyle Andrew was charged with two counts of burglary after a resident claimed he broke into his house, went through his car, stole his wallet, and left with a “black item” in his hand.

On October 12th, Clarksville Police Officer Jones responded to a report of a burglary on Zinc Plant Road. The caller stated an unidentified white male was inside his house. He asked what the uninvited man was doing there and the man, who was later found to be Cyle Andrew, questioned if the owner of the residence knew where “BG” was.

He told Andrew he had no clue what he was talking about and followed him outside where he spotted a “black item” in his hand. Andrew fled in a blue Dodge Caliber. The caller stated his wallet was nowhere to be found and that he noticed someone had gone through his vehicle. The vehicle was later stopped near the caller’s addressed and the person inside was identified to be Andrew.

Cycle Andrew was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, and violation of condition of release. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $16,000 bond
