Man caught without wedding band catches wife’s hands; almost catches bullet

29-year-old Sabrina Gear was charged with aggravated domestic assault after she pointed her handgun at her husband and hit him with it when she realized he was not wearing his wedding ring.

On October 27th, Clarksville Police Officer Doss reported to the residence of Sabrina Gear, at 419 Savannah Trace Drive, in regards to a domestic assault. The officer made contact with Sabrina Gear and her husband, Chace Gear, who stated that he was at the residence to pick up some of his belongings. Chace advised that when Sabrina noticed he was not wearing his wedding ring she began screaming at him and told him to drop everything or she was going to hit him.

When he refused, she hit him with a closed fist multiple times before going downstairs, grabbing her handgun, cocking it, and pointing it at his chest. Chace stated that she demanded him to put his things down and when he refused she hit him with the handgun. Per the report, she then put him in a headlock and scratched him under his eye. Sabrina refused to talk to the officers about the events that happened without her lawyer present. Police noted that Chase also had a fresh scratch under his eye. Officers determined Sabrina to be the primary aggressor.

Sabrina Gear was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. She was released on a $15,000 bond.
