Foursome taken into custody when authorities are “unsure” who stole the vehicle

33-year-old Debra Sheppard, 43-year-old Anthony Cone, 36-year-old Ryan Jensen, and 20-year-old Detric Delgado were charged with auto theft after they were pulled over for expired registration. Anthony Cone was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

On October 25th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Corporal Weber witnessed a red Ford Fusion make an illegal left-hand turn in front of him. After running the license place through the system, the tag came back to a white Ford Fusion with an expired registration of August 31st, 2019. Cpl. Weber initiated a traffic stop at the cross of Dover Road and Foxfield Way. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Debra Sheppard, Anthony Cone, Ryan Jensen, and Detric Delgado.

After running the VIN number through the system it was confirmed that the vehicle was stolen. Debra advised that she borrowed the vehicle from Angela Carleton who owed her $300. During the search of the vehicle and the occupants, 5.4 grams of methamphetamine, a glass pipe, and a used syringe were found on Anthony. The estimated value of the vehicle was $5,000 and Cpl. Weber was unable to identify who stole the vehicle during his investigation.

Debra Sheppard was arrested and charged with auto theft. She is currently jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond

Anthony Cone was arrested and charged with auto theft, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

Ryan Jensen was arrested and charged with auto theft. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Ryan has previous charges including public intoxication and drug paraphernalia and burglary, resisting arrest, and evading arrest.

Detric Delgado was arrested and charged with auto theft. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
