Man “chokeslams” sister during argument over her child and knocks her out, per report

30-year-old Louis Spencer was charged with aggravated domestic assault after he lifted his sister by the neck, threw her to the ground, and caused her to hit her head and lose consciousness.

On October 26th, Clarksville Police Officer M. Harrington responded to domestic violence involving Louis Spencer at the residence of 305 Lake Court Drive.

When Officer Harrington arrived, he spoke to Ms. Davis, the homeowner. She said she was in bed sleeping and didn’t know anything about a domestic incident. She wasn’t sure where the victim went and didn’t know she called 911. Officer Harrington called the victim’s cell phone and she didn’t want to meet up because she wanted to lay down. She told Officer Harrington she would give more information the next day.

Tennova Staff called Officers and notified them the victim was in the Emergency Room because she had breathing complications and had been in a fight. The victim told officers she let Davis babysit the child while she was at work. She logged into Instagram and saw a picture of her child and Spencer that he posted that made her angry. She was angry because she didn’t give Spencer permission to be around the child.

She came back to the resident to discuss the matter with Davis but it turned into an argument with Spencer. She stated he choked her with both hands, lifted her up against the wall, and slammed her down hitting her head on the tub causing her to lose consciousness. Ms. Davis helped her up and the victim contacted the police.

Louis Spencer was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated assault. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
