Knife-wielding man records pedestrian before chasing him

56-year-old Kevin Haley was charged with aggravated assault after followed a man with a knife after he asked why he was being recorded.

On October 15th, Clarksville Police Officer Strickland responded to an aggravated assault at the residence of 2010 Delia Drive.

Upon arrival, Strickland made contact with the victim who stated that he was in fear for his life after an argument between him and Kevin Haley. The man stated that he was walking down the road when Kevin was sitting on his front porch and began recording him. He further stated that when he asked him why he was recording they began arguing. The man advised that Kevin came out of his yard, opened the gate, and followed him. Kevin followed the victim into the neighbor’s yard and had a knife in his hand. Juveniles who were in the neighbor’s yard confirmed that Kevin had a knife in his hand.

Kevin Haley was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was released on a $10,000 bond.
