Juvenile’s nudes found in 27-year-old’s phone; “I sent no one nudes, except you” she states

27-year-old Jonathan Hamman was charged with 39 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of statutory rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and violation of his conditions of release for having a phone with sexual images and 4 video files of sexually explicit material with a juvenile female that was “more than 5 years younger than him but less than 10 years younger”, per report.

There was a message in the phone from the juvenile victim to Hamman saying, “Jonathan Warren Hamman, I sent no one nudes, except you.” Two of the videos involved Hamman performing coitus with the juvenile. While the phone was known to be in the possession of Hamman, metadata determined that the film was taken by the defendant’s phone on June 22nd, 2020.

The second video did not contain the metadata file to confirm but was taken on the same day, June 22nd, 2020. Positive identification was proven with all 35 photographs and videos is the known defendant and the juvenile victim. In the report, it says the defendant is more than 5 years older than the victim but less than 10 years older than the victim.

Jonathan Hamman was arrested and charged with 39 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of statutory rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and violation of his conditions of release. His bond was set at $500,000.

Where do you get this information from, Mr. Shaw? If someone is arrested they have not been proven guilty yet, I find it unfair and irresponsible to release such major case details before they’ve been in a courtroom to defend themselves. You quoted a minor’s text to Mr. Hamman, and those statements have not been released to the public. Did you think about how quoting the underage defendant might effect her? Or were you just working hard for clicks? This seems like irresponsible click-bait “journalism”. Do better.
