Man violates conditions of release, spotted with prior victim and a stolen gun

27-year-old Jonathan Hamman was charged with contempt of court and theft of property after being seen with the victim of a prior statutory rape charge and found with a stolen pistol.

On December 5th, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Fortner responded to a suspicious vehicle call at the Sango Market on Highway 41 South. According to the report, Jonathan Hamman was seen in contact with the victim listed on his conditions of release order.

Fortner made contact with both of them at the market and detained Jonathan. He was found to have a stolen .38 caliber revolver on his person. The $300 was reported stolen in Dickson County.

Back in July, Jonathan was charged with 39 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of statutory rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and violation of his conditions of release for having a phone with sexual images and 4 video files of sexually explicit material with a juvenile female.

Jonathan Hamman was arrested and charged with theft of property and two counts of contempt. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $265,000 bond.
