34-year-old Tae Martin was charged with public intoxication when a Sam’s Club employee reported that he was huddled in the entrance, muttering and punching himself.
On May 22nd, Clarksville Police Officers Knoblock and Matthews were called to the Sam’s Club located at 3315 Guthrie Highway by Ryan Novo. Novo, who identifies himself on Facebook as a Sam’s manager, told dispatch there was a man at the entrance to the establishment huddled, punching his hands and muttering to himself.
According to the affidavit, officers did indeed find Tae Martin in this posture and observed signs of him being under the influence of a narcotic. He was identified to be a danger and a nuisance.
Tae Martin was arrested and charged with public intoxication and his bond was set at $439.
