Intoxicated homeless woman randomly knocks on doors at the A&W Motel

39-year-old Angela Burns was charged with public intoxication when she was reported for randomly knocking on doors at the A&W Motel.

On August 10th, Officer Renken was dispatched to A & W Motel located at 1505 Madison Street for a public intoxication call. The person calling said that it was an accident. But when police arrived, they found Angela Burns speaking to someone after randomly knocking on their door.

The man said he had no idea who she was and that she did not reside there. Angela told officers that she lives in a tent behind Kroger. According to the report, Officer Renken stated that Angela could barely stand, had lethargic speech, and smelled strongly of alcohol. She was placed under arrest after police determined she was a safety concern and being a nuisance by knocking on random doors.

Angela Burns was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Her bond was set at $439.
