Illinois driver fails to maintain lanes; admits she had been drinking Hennessy

24-year-old Andreana Lawrence was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane use, and open container when a trooper observed a vehicle unable to maintain its lane and she was found with an open bottle of Hennessy.

On September 5th, Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Bargatze conducted a traffic stop after witnessing a vehicle drifting out of its lane of travel. Trooper Bargatze spoke to the driver who was later identified as Andreana Lawrence.

The trooper noted that Ms. Lawrence had the odor of alcohol on her person, and admitted that she had been drinking Hennessy. Trooper Bargatze conducted a field sobriety test, and she showed clues of impairment during each task.

Andreana Lawrence was charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane use, and open container. Her bond was set at $3,000.
