30-year-old James Blackwell was charged with domestic vandalism after he was involved in an argument with a woman and then damaged her TV and laptop while she was gone for three days.
On June 30th, Officers Bagwell and Matthews arrived at the victim’s apartment in reference to a call about vandalism. She stated that she and defendant James Blackwell had gotten into an argument on June 27th and she left her home.
When she returned on June 30th, she said that James was still in her apartment and she noticed damage to her laptop and television. The estimated amount of the items is $800 altogether. Also, she said that no one else had access to her apartment and that it was not the first time he had damaged her property.
James Blackwell was arrested and charged with domestic vandalism. His bond was set at $5,000.
