She stated that during the argument she became upset with Nicholson and began cutting up his clothes. In turn, he began doing the same until his rage built up to him throwing items around the room. At that time the victim retrieved a box cutter and cut Nicholson, police observed a cut on his chest and on his left forearm. He grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to her throat, she reported. Also, he grabbed her cell phone and threw it rendering the phone inoperable.

Officers made contact with Nicholson at Darnell Street Lot 19 who confirmed the entire statement except that he said he never held a knife to her throat. When the victim was searched police found the box cutter, which was then placed into evidence. Both he and the victim were taken into custody and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

Larnell Nicholson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and vandalism. His bond was set at $15,000.
