36-year-old Deshauna Simons was charged with aggravated assault and a fifth offense of driving on a revoked or suspended license after running into an unidentified male on Westfield Court with her Ford Expedition, where she then parked and punched him in the face, per report.

On June 2nd, Officer Westover received a call at the In-Town Suites located on 129 Westfield Ct regarding an aggravated assault. According to the affidavit, Simons screamed at the trio to move away from the roadway while driving approximately 10 miles per hour. Sliger and the child removed themselves from the roadway, while the male took part in a verbal altercation with the driver. Simons confessed that, during the argument, she steered the Expedition towards the man and “nudged” him. The man stated that the woman ran into him three times and that the force of the vehicle was enough to make him stumble backward.

Simons reportedly returned to the scene of the crime after running into the man, punching him in the left eye with a closed fist. While the Expedition did not cause any notable injuries to the man, the strike from Simons left a noticeable abrasion, per report. Further investigation later revealed that Simons’ license to be revoked for a failure to provide financial responsibility. The charge of driving on a revoked license is the fifth offense for Simons.

Deshauna Simons was arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license and aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $60,000.
