On March 5th, Officer William Becker responded to a call and spoke with a woman who said Charles Miller had been at her home the previous day at around 4:00 a.m. According to the redacted affidavit, she told Officer Becker that Miller had forced her into a bedroom with one hand around her neck while battering her face and chest with his other hand. The officer did confirm observing injury on the victim’s chest.
