29-year-old Robert Mintlow was charged with resisting arrest, evading arrest, and two counts of assault after he was involved in a fight, ran from police, punched an officer in the head, and then spit on them as he was being detained.
On September 6th, MCSO Deputy Brendan Davis was dispatched to 471 Kelly Lane in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, contact was made with Robert Mintlow who was involved in the brawl.
According to the affidavit, Robert became aggressive and ran off on foot. When Davis caught up with him, he threw a punch and hit Davis in the head. At that time, Davis managed to get him to the ground, but Mintlow continued to fight. He then spit on two officers while he was being placed into custody.
Robert Mintlow was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, evading arrest, and two counts of assault. His bond was set at $15,000.
