31-year-old Joshua Wooten was charged with possession of methamphetamine after asking a deputy for a ride to the county line in spite of carrying meth with him.
On September 10th, Montgomery County Sherriff’s Deputy Danielle Prichard was dispatched to Highway 149 and Cumberland Heights Road where she met with Deputy Beck.
She was called in reference to Joshua Wooten who asked Deputy Beck for a ride to the county line. However, before allowing Wooten in her vehicle, Beck conducted a search of his person and found a blue rag containing 2.4 grams of methamphetamine.
Joshua Wooten was arrested and charged with a methamphetamine violation. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
