Angry spouse hits husband’s car then chases him through parking lot

19-year-old Ashleigh Alexis Nelson was charged with aggravated assault after hitting her husband’s vehicle with her own and chasing him through the parking lot.

On October 5th, Clarksville Police Officer Dilsaver responded to a call involving domestic violence with aggravated assault at 3193 Fort Campbell Boulevard. Officer Dilsaver made contact with Ashleigh Nelson who was sitting in her car upon arrival. Nelson stated she and her husband were in a verbal altercation when her husband then ran his vehicle into the passenger side of her vehicle twice.

Nelson stated she then rammed her vehicle back into his driver’s side two times. Officers then spoke with her husband who stated they were arguing and she back out of a parking spot and hit his vehicle once, and proceeded to chase him throughout the parking out. After further investigation, it was determined the husband never hit Nelson’s vehicle due to the fact there was no damage to her vehicle.

Ashleigh Nelson was charged with aggravated assault. She was released on a $15,000 bond.
