Young couple booked together after woman refuses to let boyfriend leave during argument

19-year-old Jenna Tanner and 20-year-old Brent Tucke were both charged with domestic assault after Jenna tried to prevent her boyfriend from leaving, and in response, he “smashed her head into the wall.”

On November 11th, Clarksville Police Officer Jennifer Renken responded to a domestic violence call at the residence of Jenna Tanner and Brent Tucke at 441 Needmore Road. When questioned they both stated that the verbal altercation became physical when Brent tried to leave. Reportedly, when he tried to leave the residence, Jenna threw herself in the doorway and prevented his passing. Jenna claims Brent hit her head with the door and smashed her head against the wall. Renken also noted that she did have a visible red mark on her head.

Afterward, Brent tried to leave again when Jenna reportedly chased him and grabbed his shirt to stop him. This caused his shirt to rip, leaving marking along his chest and neck. Brent left to go to a friend’s house and returned later to gather some of his things. During this time, a witness testified that Jenna was repeatedly throwing herself at Brent and the ground. Brent reportedly felt assaulted by these actions. Given the physical evidence on both parties and both claiming assault both were taken into custody.

Jenna Tanner and Brent Tucke were both arrested and charged with domestic assault. Both have since been released on $1000 bonds.
