Woman recently released; back in jail after group home kicking frenzy

49-year-old Erica Hetzer was charged with two counts of domestic assault after a kicking rampage at a group home she was in after being released from jail.

On May 7th, Clarksville Police Officer Nicholas Martin responded to a domestic disturbance at 913 Shearor Street. Erica Hetzer had just been released from jail after serving a fourteen-day sentence for an April offense. A woman in the group home she stays in told Hetzer it was bedtime and she started kicking.

The victim fell to the ground and Erika continued to kick her until mounting her and switching to her fists. She also kicked someone attempting to help the victim. Erica Hetzer admitted to the kicking but claimed the victim had hit her first. No one corroborated Hetzer’s version of the incident.

Erica Hetzer was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault and is currently jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
